Augie and Johnny have been become so popular that now both are in demand and being invited to several schools for Career Days, E. R. Chapa Elementary in Mission, De La Vina Elementary in Edinburg and Bertha Palacios Elementary in Las Milpas just to name a few.
Johnny told Texas Border Business that the smiles they see when they visit these schools are priceless. He said, “It’s all about encouraging, motivating self-confidence in many kids that we meet.”
Augie pointed out that days before the STARR exam both talk to kids about the importance of getting proper rest the day before the exam and eating a healthy meal.
