Bert Ogden Auto Group sponsored T-shirts and caps for the outstanding Robert Vela High School Saber Cats basketball team. Saber Cats will be facing Lancaster to settle things once and for all. The game is Tonight March 10, 2016 at 7pm during a Playoff game tournament – 2015-16 UIL Boys State Basketball Championships.
The Vela Saber Cats basketball team has a neutral playoff game vs. Lancaster to take place at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio Texas. Superintendent Rene Gutierrez, Edinburg Mayor Pro-Tem Richard Molina and city commissioner David Torres indicated to Texas Border Business that they will be present during this important game to support the team.
They all predicted victory. Bob and Janet Vackar jubilant supporting high school sports, their grandson Walt took part of the ceremony and photo session as seen here with Grandma Janet on her lap. TBB
