Relocated branch will boast new ‘green space’
Texas Border Business
Mission, Texas – BBVA Compass announced the relocation of its main Mission branch, which will feature a new green space where the old branch was located.
The move to the new location, adjacent to the former location, is a result of the previous building’s outdated infrastructure. The old branch is in the process of being demolished and will be replaced with the green space.
“Mission is a key area for BBVA Compass, and we’re always looking for ways to better serve our clients in all markets across our footprint,” said BBVA Compass Texas Border CEO Jon Rebello. “We took multiple factors into account when making the decision to demolish the old branch and relocate operations. Decisions like these are constantly being made in the banking industry and our team handled the move with the utmost care. We also took every precaution to protect customer information and secure property stored in safety deposit boxes during the move.”
The new green space will include a floral garden, newly-planted trees such as desert willows and other modern landscaping features. BBVA Compass is funding the entire project.
The new branch features multiple upgrades, including the branch’s teller line, restrooms, and lighting systems. Bank business has resumed at the location and the new branch is fully operational.
