Pharr, Texas – The City of Pharr, in collaboration with the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce, the Pharr Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and local leaders, is excited to invite everyone to the much-anticipated Avocado Festival 2024! Join us for a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and, of course, the beloved avocado!
This signature event will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2 PM to 11 PM in the heart of Downtown Pharr (118 S. Cage Blvd.). Don’t miss out on a day packed with fun, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment for all ages. Event entrance is FREE before 5 PM.
Avocado Festival will feature an incredible musical lineup, including performances by Trey Gonzalez, Mesteño, Red – Taylor Swift Tribute, La Casetera, and our headliner, country music star Chris Young! Plus, attendees can explore over 100 food and market vendors from Pharr and beyond, showcasing the finest culinary delights and crafts the region has to offer.
In addition to the thrilling performances and vendor selections, this year’s festival will include a variety of carnival rides, exciting contests such as the guacamole contest and avocado costume contest, family-friendly activities, and a car show. Come join the fun and celebrate all things avocado with the City of Pharr.
