Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) agents disrupted three migrant smuggling attempts resulting in 16 arrests.

McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) agents arrest two gang members and a convicted child sex offender. 

Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector Border Patrol agents encountered four migrant smuggling attempts in collaboration with local law enforcement. In one incident a vehicle was discovered down an embankment with multiple injured migrants. 

Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) Border Patrol agents responded to a request from Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies to locate a nine-year-old boy that was separated from his family and lost at the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge in Alamo, Texas.
