“We are grateful for the long-standing commitment Keppel AmFELS has had to Brownsville. This project will enable Brownsville and Keppel AmFELS to continue to work together to create opportunities for our region,” said Mayor Trey Mendez.

The project follows a $30 million investment in new equipment and processes at ISL’s site at the Port of Brownsville to meet the requirements of the rigorous EU Ship Recycling Regulation (EU SSR).
