During this meeting McAllen Mayor, Jim Darling and Reynosa Mayor, Maqui Ortiz joined by Mexican Consul in McAllen Froylan Yescas Cedillo, will participate in a brief virtual ceremony. The main topic will be to make official the donation of drinking water by McAllen towards the victims of Hurricane Hanna in Reynosa.

The aftermath of Hurricane Hanna left behind a lot of flooding and devastation to Reynosa, Mexico. Due to the flooding, thousands of people have lost their belongings, access to the basic resources to cover their basic needs and in many cases their homes.

Mission Regional Medical Center received a donation of 25,000 face masks to support the organization’s mission in the fight against COVID-19. This donation will assist in protecting our patients and keeping our front-line staff as healthy as possible.
