Edinburg, Texas – Hidalgo County Elections Administrator Yvonne Ramón encourages voters to know your ballot before you head to the polls to vote in the November 2, 2021 Constitutional Amendment Election and Local Entities Elections.

The Elections Department website offers tools to help voters be an informed voter as they participate in this election. Did you know the website contains a link where you can find the Constitutional Amendment Explanatory Statements? Visit, www.hidalgocounty.us/elections to find a complete list of the amendments that are on the ballot, as well as important information on the six local city elections currently being administered.

“There are eight propositions on this year’s ballot,” said Ramón. “If you wait to view your ballot until you are at the polling location, it will cause longer wait times as voters will need to review the propositions before they make their selection.”
