Nearly 200,000 Texans were beaten by their intimate partners in 2022. 74% of all Texans either know someone who has been a victim of domestic violence or have been victims themselves. It is estimated the U.S. economy loses $8.4 billion annually due to domestic violence. Statistics tell us the only human service directly correlated with a decrease in domestic violence is access to legal solutions.
