The Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) is having a Tacos y Tacones Mercado and Chalupa fundraising event on Saturday, July 20th at the CFC Hall located at 2201 Trenton in McAllen. There will be plenty of vendors with crafts, clothes, food, etc. Event is from 9 am to 3 pm. Funds will go towards scholarships for the high school girls that participate in our “Latinas in Progress” Program. Do you think we could get you to donate an item as a prize for the Chalupa games?Â
The Mercado is FREE BUT THE CHALUPA games cost $25 for 4 cards. Chalupa will be played from 12 noon to 2
