Cowboy Chicken, the popular nine-unit Dallas-based fast casual wood fire rotisserie chicken brand, has signed their newest franchisee, Alvie Capital, LLC. The 5-store agreement will expand the Cowboy Chicken brand to South Texas, starting with the city of McAllen.
Britton’s introduction to Cowboy Chicken came during a business trip to Dallas, Texas. He stated that the moment he experienced Cowboy Chicken, he knew this unique concept would be a great fit for South Texas. “The closest thing McAllen has to Cowboy Chicken can only be found in a grocery store, under a heat lamp. There is a direct need for something besides fried chicken in our area. Cowboy Chicken offers a new and unique twist, without being in direct competition with the other chicken chains. The real wood fire concept is something no one else is doing”, stated Britton.
Britton plans to begin his development with a location in McAllen, Texas, the hub of the Rio Grande Valley. His future plans are to expand into Brownsville and Corpus Christi. Britton is a lifetime resident of McAllen and an active member of the McAllen Chamber and Rotary Club. His goal, as a community driven business owner, is to create lasting relationships and bring a fast, healthy dining alternative to the residents of South Texas. In an interview Britton stated that his number one goal is overall excellence in everything he does! Striving for excellence in everything from customer service to clean restrooms is the key to a successful restaurant.
Sean Kennedy, Cowboy Chicken President says, “Welcoming franchise owners like Alvie into the Cowboy Chicken family brings me great pleasure. His knowledge and experience as a restaurant owner/operator will play a key role in successfully growing the Cowboy Chicken brand and keeping our guest the number one priority.”
