PHARR – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announces alternating the full closures of the 10th and 23rd Streets turnarounds westbound frontage to eastbound frontage and vice-versa at Interstate 2 (US 83).
Anderson Columbia, a TxDOT contractor will be preparing and installing the bridge foundation support on the turnaround slope (weather permitting). The work is part of the specifications of the project that calls for a raising of the bridges.
Alternating closures will occur between March 5th through 9th and from March 12th through 16th from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The turnaround will be open to traffic when work is completed at the end of the day.
