LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo South Station shut down a stash house yielding the apprehension of several undocumented individuals in south Laredo.

The incident occurred on May 9, when agents acted on information of suspicious activity at a residence on North Seymour Avenue.  Agents discovered nearly 60 undocumented individuals inside the residence.  They were identified as being from the countries of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico.  All were medically screened before being processed accordingly.

Stash houses are a threat to national security and a threat to the people in our communities not only due to the criminal activity they are linked to but also because of the lack of sanitary conditions which can foster a breeding ground for illnesses or other communicable diseases.
