Sabrina Walker Hernandez CEO for Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg Announces Retirement

Edinburg – Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV has announced that Sabrina Walker Hernandez is retiring as the Chief Executive Officer and current Deputy CEO Adriana Rendon will be appointed as her successor.
Walker Hernandez informed the board of directors earlier this year, and the board selected Rendon to fill her role and take over responsibilities as CEO in May 2019.
Rendon joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV in February 2013 as VP of Operations and was promoted to Deputy CEO in August 2018.
Prior to her position at Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV, Rendon served as Chief Executive Officer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bandera County. Before that, she worked with

Adriana is the best person for the job.”
Walker Hernandez was hired at the Club as the Teen Court Coordinator in April 1999, was promoted to Director of Operations and named the CEO in January 2006. Under Walker Hernandez’s guidance, Boys & Girls Club strengthened its executive leadership team with strategic acquisitions including Rendon.
