The Food Bank RGV received a generous grant of $12,000 from the Darden Foundation to assist in their efforts of providing help to children facing hunger.  Since July 2017, a total of 10,978 children received food from the Emergency Food Pantry.  Volunteers help keep the pantry fully stocked.
