The McAllen Public Utility (MPU) Drive-Thru, located on the east side of McAllen City Hall at 1300 W. Houston Ave., will remain temporarily closed until further notice to allow the contractor additional time to complete renovations. During this period, MPU customers can continue to make payments at the customer service window inside McAllen City Hall or conveniently pay their bills online.
“These renovations are essential to improving safety, efficiency, and overall customer experience,” said MPU General Manager Mark Vega. “We appreciate the community’s patience as we complete these necessary upgrades to better serve our customers.”
Alternative Payment Options Available:
- Customer Service Window: Open during regular business hours inside McAllen City Hall.
- Online Payments: Secure and convenient payments at www.mcallen.net. Click on “Pay Your Water Bill”.
- Other Payment Options: Use authorized payment locations or set up autopay for added convenience.
MPU appreciates residents’ understanding and will provide updates on the reopening date as renovations progress.
