The 9th Annual Friends for Hope Charity Event will take place on Saturday, November 9th at the Las Palmas Racepark on Taylor Road in Mission, Texas. This year’s featured guests will be the legendary ROBERT EARL KEEN AND BELLAMY BROTHERS. Friends for Hope is an organization of adults in the Rio Grande Valley dedicated to helping local children suffering from cancer. The mission of Friends of Hope is to raise funds for the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Children’s Cancer & Hematology Clinic in McAllen, to provide volunteers to support the clinic staff, and to help create community awareness about the clinic and the needs of the young patients that it serves. In the short 9 years of existence Friends for Hope has donated over $400,000 to the clinic.
