The City of McAllen will be hosting the 95th Annual Independence Day Celebration on July 4, 2023 in McAllen. It kicks off with a 4-K Independence Day Run at 7 a.m. from Archer Park; Patriotic Program to follow at 8 a.m. at Archer Park with the Town Band, dignitaries and much more; The Main Street Parade will kick off at 9 a.m. from Houston Avenue to Archer Park on Main Street; Freedom Festival after the Main Street Parade at Archer Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. plenty of food, fun and games; Aquatica Extravaganza at the Municipal Pool from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; the big show is the Concert in the Sky at 9 p.m. from McAllen Municipal Park on Bicentennial Boulevard there will be live entertainment and food trucks available at the park before the fireworks.
