The McAllen Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 19th Annual Presidents’ Cup Golf Tournament sponsored by Boggus Ford-Lincoln McAllen on Monday, April 8 at Palm View Golf Course.
“Team slots are going fast,” stated Blanca Cardenas, VP of Membership Services and golf tournament organizer. “We are blessed that every year we have such a great response from local business owners and businesses in support of the Chamber’s Education Initiative Program. The last couple years the Chamber has committed to donating $7,500 as a cash prize to any golfer that can make a hole in one at the designated hole during the event.”
The second Hole In One prize will be a trip for two to Pebble Beach for a 5 day, 4 night stay, which includes hotel & airfare also courtesy of the McAllen Chamber. There will be plenty of other door prizes given away. All tournament winners will be announced during the awards presentation at the dinner banquet. All proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the McAllen Chamber Education Initiative to benefit McAllen ISD students.
