Mission, Tx– For a second year, this past April, Taco Palenque kicked off its fundraising efforts to help St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® continue to lead the way the world understands, treats and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Through the St. Jude Give thanks. Give hope™ campaign customers were encouraged to donate $1 or more at the register to support the lifesaving mission of the hospital.
The fundraiser campaign was a total success thanks to the generosity of Taco Palenque guests, friends, family,
Taco Palenque CEO Juan Francisco Ochoa Jr. presented a check to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the amount of $40,000. The proceeds were achieved by our communities’ donations at the Taco Palenque locations; Renea Ferris and Pastor Giraud, representatives from St. Jude expressed their gratitude to the community of the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, Cotulla,and San Antonio for giving this precious gift to the Hospital.
One hundred percent of the donations raised during this campaign go directly to the Hospital,
which is where doctors often send their toughest cases since St. Jude has the world’s best survival rates for some of the most aggressive forms of cancers. To date, St. Jude Give thanks. Give hope. has raised more than $5 million for the kids of St. Jude.
Taco Palenque family is committed and will continue to raise awareness and provide resources for the children.
