11 PSJA ISD students named among top Imagine Learning Mathletes

PHARR — Educational technology company Imagine Learning recently named their top 11 PSJA ISD middle school students among their end of the year Top Mathletes.

Imagine Learning, which aims to provide supplemental math, language and literacy programs for pre-school through high school students, hosts annual contests to highlight students, campuses, classrooms and teachers.

The top 11 students were selected based on most lessons passed through Imagine Learning.

LBJ Middle School

  • Hoang Le (Teacher: Christian Perez)

Austin MS

  • Jazmin Tamez (Teacher: Javier Zamara)
  • Armando Garza (Teacher: Brenda Cortez)
  • Isabella Rodriguez (Teacher: Brenda Cortez)
  • Isaac Dominguez (Teacher: Brenda Cortez)
  • Christopher Hernandez (Teacher Brenda Cortez)
  • Juan Almaraz (Teacher: Marco Ayala)

The students also qualified for a raffle to reward their hard work. Congratulations to Mason Pena, Isabella Rodriguez and Christopher Hernandez for each winning a new Amazon Fire Tablet!
