EDINBURG – The Educational Results Partnership recently recognized 10 schools from the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District for being named to its 2018-2019 Texas Honor Roll program during an awards ceremony at the Knapp Conference Center in Weslaco.

The Educational Results Partnership (ERP), which developed the Honor Roll program, applies data science to help improve student outcomes and career readiness. ERP maintains the nation’s largest database on student achievement and utilizes this data to identify higher-performing schools and districts.

“We are a non-profit organization established to improve education, led by business leaders, CEOs, and people who run big businesses. They are the employers of these kids of tomorrow. They require an educated workforce,” said James Lanich, Ph.D., ERP president and CEO. “We’ve identified 100 schools in the Rio Grande Valley who are doing their part of the job.”
