ALTON, Texas – Last week Sergeant Carlos Olivarez and Sergeant Joshua Rodriguez graduated from the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA) Texas Sergeant’s Academy in Schertz Texas. 

The Texas Sergeants Academy is a prestigious two-week interactive and experiential program designed to equip and inspire new supervisors and reinvigorate senior supervisors, for the challenges of the fast-paced and fluid world of law enforcement leadership. 

With their recent graduation, all Alton Police Department first-line supervisors have completed the Texas Sergeants Academy Program.
