McAllen Mayor Jim Darling, McAllen City Commission, City of McAllen Administration, McAllen Parks & Recreation Department and the City of McAllen Parks Advisory Board, were part of an important ceremony, the unveiling of Travis Tennis Court Revitalization Project.

The revitalization project included resurfacing the courts, adding additional shade structure, windscreens, landscaping, installing a single stall bathroom facility, landscaping, constructing entryways from parking lot to court area, and sealing coating, and striping parking lot.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at the Travis Tennis Court, South 8th St., south of Dallas Avenue.
