Dr. Derek Greenfield, motivational speaker, author and educator, gave the keynote address during UTRGV’s Hispanic Engineering, Science, and Technology (HESTEC) Student Leadership Day, Oct. 4 on the Edinburg Campus. Hundreds of middle school students from around the Valley were introduced to a wide range of career opportunities in the STEM fields through motivational speakers like Greenfield and breakout sessions.
