PSJA Health Students donate 1000 Paper Cranes to DHR Pediatric Oncology Wing

A group of PSJA Early College High School students and teachers took flight to DHR Health on June 10 to deliver 1,000 paper cranes to patients in the Pediatric Oncology unit.

Edinburg CISD School Bus Driver Inspires Family

Eight members of the Reyes family recently celebrated another year at the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District, helping to educate hundreds of students by safely transporting them to their campuses every day.

Mission Police Officer Killed in the Line of Duty

The City of Mission and the Mission Police Department are in mourning today. A longtime officer, Corporal Jose Luis “Speedy” Espericueta, was shot and killed on Thurs. June 20, 2019, when he responded to back up an officer on a call for help near Stewart Road and Business 83.

Mission Sailor gets Commissioned in the U.S. Navy

A total of 134 new scholars were selected and are committed to teaching in majority economically disadvantaged Texas public schools or in hard-to-fill subject areas.
