Today, Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced $99,401,933 in federal funding for 26 independent and consolidated school districts in the 15th District of Texas for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020. This is a preliminary allocation. The U.S. Department of Education will release final totals in June 2020.

Mission firefighters are prepared to save four-legged family members thanks to a generous donation. The Fetch Foundation, an Arizona-based nonprofit dedicated to saving animals, provided five “FIDO BAGs” to the Mission Firefighters Association Local 3609.
Jovita Carranza Begins as SBA’s 26th Administrator
Jovita Carranza began serving as the 26th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The President nominated Administrator Carranza to lead the SBA while she was serving as the 44th Treasurer of the United States.
