WAC Suspends Fall Competition
The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics learned on Thursday that, due to health and safety concerns for student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Board of Directors voted to suspend all fall championship and non‐championship athletics competition through the end of the calendar year.
