Cornyn Urges House Democrats to Pass Debbie Smith Act Before September Expiration

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following statement calling on House Democrats to pass the Debbie Smith Act of 2019, which would reauthorize the Debbie Smith Act and dedicate much-needed resources to state and local law enforcement agencies to conduct forensic analyses of crime scenes, including untested rape kits.

UTRGV receives NSF grant to further gravitational wave research

The National Science Foundation recently awarded UTRGV’s Department of Physics and Astronomy a grant to further its gravitational wave research.
