RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference announced on Monday that senior goalie Oliver Padilla of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros men’s soccer team has been named WAC Defensive Player of the Week.

EDINBURG, Texas – McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) agents arrested three Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang members. They also arrested a previously convicted migrant with an outstanding warrant from Dallas, Texas. All four are citizens of El Salvador.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) baseball team announced on Friday plans to host prospect cams on Nov. 7 and Jan. 16 from 10 a.m.-to-3 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.

LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo South Station rescued two children who were stranded in the Rio Grande River near the Chacon Creek in South Laredo.
