Early in December of 2016, Letty Garza, a well-known news broadcaster and her daughter decided to adopt a healthy diet for a few weeks. However, the appeal of a quick diet, sometimes creates a desire, with a vengeance, to go back and eat the opposite and much more, which could bring consequences.

It was 1975 when I first entered the radio business. My first job in this field was with KQXX FM 98.5 radio station located at 608 South 10th Street in McAllen, at that time. The building still stands, it is just across from Pep Boys.

IDEA College Preparatory Alamo T-STEM Academy in conjunction with Noble Texas Builders provided the senior students with a work-based learning opportunity through the Graphic Design class to develop a logo for a new in-house company initiative for the Noble Texas Builders and Noble Charities.

Armed with a Bachelor of Communication and a Master of Public Affairs degrees, Enriquez took the bull by the horns when she accepted to become the Chief Executive Officer for the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce.

The Rio Grande Valley has had families with great hearts. People that are always ready and eager to help others with no hesitation.

Last month was exceptional for the Vackar family. On February 22, 2019, the Edinburg school system named a park the Janet Ogden Vackar Sports Complex. It sits on a 21-acre tract of land.

It’s with great pleasure that I introduce to you the new Border Patrol Chief Sector Rodolfo Karisch. He and a group of his team visited Rotary Club McAllenSouth and gave an update on the situation at the border.
