The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2020 Miss Weslaco and Texas Onion Fest royal courts. The pageant was held in November 2019 at the Weslaco ISD Performing Arts Center, with the reign beginning on January 1, 2020.
Crowned as Miss Weslaco 2020, Danielle Silva is the daughter of Theodore Lucio and Linda Silva, and is a junior at Weslaco High School. Olivia Marie Canales was names as 1st Runner Up and Jiovana Caceres was named as 2nd Runner Up.
Little Miss Weslaco 2020 is Violet Kerr, daughter of Gregory and Lori Kerr. She is a first grader at Memorial Elementary. First Runner Up was Joie Belen Fuentes.
For the first time, Mr. and Little Mr. Weslaco were added to the official royal court. Jeffery Casares was named Mr. Weslaco 2020. He is the son of Jerry and Rachel Casares and is a junior at Weslaco East High School. 1st Runner up was Parker Galvan.
Little Mr. Weslaco 2020 went to Tristopher Solis, son of Margarito and Melissa Solis. Tristopher is a first grader at Airport Elementary.
In addition, three queens were named to the 2020 Texas Onion Fest Court.
Miss Onion Fest 2020 went to Camryn Bravo, daughter of Jose Bravo and Heidi de Leon. Camryn is an 8th grader at Central Middle School.
Trinity Solis was named Miss Onion Blossom 2020. Trinity is the daughter of Margarito and Melissa Solis and is a 7th grader at Central Middle School. 1st Runner Up went to Hayley Hoover.
Miss Pearl Onion Princess 2020 went to Mercedes Elizabeth Perez, daughter of Tony Perez and Tiffany Runte. Mercedes is a 2nd grader at Immanuel Lutheran School.
The Miss Weslaco/Mr. Weslaco and Miss Onion Fest courts will participate in the 31stannual Texas Onion Fest, Saturday, March 28th, at Mayor Pablo Peña City Park and other chamber events throughout the year.
