Utility surveying continues on I-2 frontage roads
Texas Border Business
PHARR – Single-lane closures of the I-2 westbound frontage roads will continue to take place next week.
Motorists can expect various closures between 2nd Street in McAllen and Cesar Chavez Road in San Juan beginning Monday, July 27, 2020, through Friday, July 31, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The closures are necessary to provide a safe work zone for crews as utility surveying continues. All work is weather permitting.
Drivers are reminded to stay alert and slowdown in roadwork zones, to be aware of lane closures and alternate routes, and to follow all traffic control updates.
