The Border Texan of the Year committee honored two icons of the Rio Grande Valley, Bob and Janet Vackar, owners of the Bert Ogden Auto Group. Bob and Janet were the honorees of this year and the recipients of Congressional recognitions and flags flown over the Texas capital and the nation’s capital.
