The Pharr Community Theater (PCT) is offering eight 1/2 hour online acting classes from July 6, 2020 to July 31, 2020 for kids, teens and adults. Learn the basics of acting and a little more including auditioning tips and digging deeper to discover characters for real acting. Classes will be via zoom and instructed by Pedro Garcia, a member of the screen actor guild since 1994 and current PCT artistic Director. (see his short bio below) Class for kids, ages 8-12 will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 10:30 am; For teens class is on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am to 10:30 am and for adults on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Pedro Garcia short bio

Pedro Garcia has directed and acted in over 150 plays & films combined since 1987. He’s appeared on Film & TV shows including; Tejano, Noche Loca, Queen of the South, Fast & Furious Five, Breaking Bad, Halt & Catch Fire, & Mad Love. Currently he resides in Pharr, TX and is the Artistic Director for the Pharr Community Theater Co., and a Filmmaking consultant and freelance casting assistant.
