Texas Border Business The McAllen Police Department continues its Homicide investigation on the 800 block of North Ware Road, McAllen,Texas, the shooting death of 61 year-old Eddy Betancourt on December 27, 2025. McAllen Police Investigators have located evidentiary images of homicide suspect, Reynaldo Mata-Rios, crossing through a U.S./Mexico Port of Entry in a red truck. Images are recorded and dated on December 28, 2025. Investigators have identified the driver of the red truck as Leonel Perez Delgado.
