MCALLEN, TEXAS – South Texas College is offering students every opportunity to register as the fall semester inches closer. Extended hours at STC continue this Saturday, Aug. 11, and will continue every Saturday after that until classes begin Aug. 27.
Advising, Student Financial Services, Counseling, and Cashier’s Offices will be open on Aug. 11, 18, and 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pecan, Mid-Valley, and Starr County campuses. The bookstore at Pecan Campus and Mid-Valley will also be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
STC offers a variety of installment plans, emergency loans, and continuing education installment plans for students who have registered.
During the fall and spring semesters, installment plans will only be available during the first twelve days of the semester but enable students to pay as little as 20 percent of the cost of their classes on a monthly basis. Registration is available 24/7 via Jagnet and at www.southtexascollege.edu/register/. Students can select courses, register, and pay online.
The final payment deadline for Fall 2018 is Sept. 12. Students may continue registering for classes up until the first class day.
