Changes announced to free student Grab and Go meals – Two meals, One Stop

Mission, Texas – Beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020, children in the Mission Consolidated Independent School District CISD) will only have to make one trip to get their Grab and Go meals for the day. Beginning Wednesday, lunch for that day and their breakfast for the following day can be picked up at any of the listed locations. The pick up times are 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Then each day the service is offered, Monday-Friday, students will get two meals in just one trip. Children must be in the vehicle in order to receive free meals. Any child, ages 18 and under, is eligible to receive a meal, even if they are not a Mission CISD student. 

Meal services will be available at the following locations: Mission Collegiate High School, Mission High School, Veterans Memorial High School, Mission Jr. High School, Leal Elementary School, O’Grady Elementary School, Capt. J. Castro Elementary School, Midkiff Elementary School, Mims Elementary School, Waitz Elementary School, Cantu Elementary School, Marcell Elementary School, Bryan Elementary School, R. Cantu Jr. High School, Salinas Elementary School. Mobile sites through re-configured school buses will be available at the following locations: Madero Park; 6 Mile & Los Ebanos; 4 Mile & Inspiration; 5 Mile & Inspiration; Trosper & Yukon; Los Ebanos & Palmera Drive.
