Texas Border Business

Safety is our top priority at the Boys and Girls Club of Edinburg and we are doing everything possible to keep our children, staff and volunteers protected from COVID-19.

On June 18, 2020 we learned that two Club Staff members tested positive for COVID-19.  The Club staff members are following strict medical guidelines and will remain in quarantine. They were last at the facility on Tuesday.

We are collaborating with the appropriate health officials from Hidalgo County and following all recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Effective immediately, the Boys and Girls Club is closed while we sanitize the building and allow Hidalgo County to perform contact tracing.

If you are having symptoms that align with COVID-19, please contact your health provider or the county health department and indicate that you may have been exposed to the virus.

We are advising all our club staff, families and youth to continue taking precautions as recommended by the CDC.  We will continue to update you as we know more.
