On another note, Broadband Development Office Board of Advisors (BDOBOA) members from South Texas encouraged applicants to review its first round of funds totaling $120 million for Broadband Infrastructure Projects by Friday, May 5. 

The Texas Broadband Development Office was established by House Bill 5, 87th Legislative Session, to be operated by Glenn Hegar, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. More congratulations! – Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Robert Dominguez to the Governing Board of the Texas Civil Commitment Office for a term set to expire on February 1, 2029. The office is responsible for providing monitoring and treatment of civilly committed sexually violent predators.
