South Texas College fall payment deadlines approach, July 31 & August 12

McAllen, TX (July 23, 2015) – New and returning South Texas College students are advised to register now for the fall 2015 semester while also considering important payment deadlines that are fast-approaching.  The Fall Early Payment Deadline is July 31, and the Fall Drop Payment Deadline is August 12. Classes start on August 24.

In addition to the benefits of having flexible class schedules, registering now and setting up payment arrangements by the Fall Early Payment Deadline allows students to avoid the $60 registration after deadline fee.  If students have not applied for financial aid, paid for classes, or made payment arrangements with the Cashiers Office by the Fall Drop Payment Deadline on August 12, at 5 p.m., classes will be dropped.

While financial aid for fall is still available, students have other payment options that include emergency loans and installment plans through the Cashiers Office. Payment arrangements can be made in person during regular business hours at Pecan, Mid-Valley and Starr County Cashiers’ Offices or 24/7 online on the Cashiers’ website.
